25 YEARS.. LOYAL GUESTS

Jos & Marion

“I, Jos, have known Annaline since the days when she was still working at the restaurant on Hertogsingel. Even back then, she knew how to create something truly special. When Mes Amis opened its doors in 2001, I followed her there as a guest.

I still vividly remember one of those first evenings. Together with my mother, who has since passed away, I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a table by the window. Perhaps that is why, more than twenty years later, it remains our favourite table. These days, I enjoy sitting there with my wife Marion.”

A Favourite Place for Special Occasions
“Nowadays, we visit Mes Amis two or three times a year, almost always to celebrate something special. And to us, that makes perfect sense, because at Mes Amis, special moments somehow become even more memorable. The dishes are of an exceptionally high standard, and the Limburg wines are a delight every single time. Annaline's Pareltjes and Cuvée Patriek remain our favourites. But what truly sets Mes Amis apart is the combination of gastronomy and genuine hospitality. Not only are you treated to wonderful food and wine, but you also feel genuinely appreciated. That warm, personal connection is what makes every visit such a pleasure.

We will never forget our wedding dinner in 2019, which we celebrated with family and friends in the private dining room at Mes Amis. Every detail was taken care of perfectly! We will certainly miss Annaline enormously: her warmth, professionalism and genuine interest in her guests. During the years she worked at the restaurant, Germaine also made her own wonderful contribution to Mes Amis, which was always lovely to see. We are certain she has a bright future ahead of her!”

A Familiar Feeling
“At the same time, we look to the future of Mes Amis with great confidence. Patriek is doing a fantastic job, and we are certain that the restaurant will continue to be a place where people feel welcome and at home for many years to come. And as for us? We hope to enjoy many more evenings at our beloved table by the window.”
